MSL instruction is suitable for all students who are struggling to master reading and writing. It is direct and explicit, systematic and cumulative. Students learn to "crack" the alphabetic code, so they can meaningfully take speech to print. 

All lessons incorporate:

- Reading 

- Writing

- Spelling

- Handwriting

To support students with their numeracy development, I use the ICRAVE Methodology, developed by Esther White, and a hands-on Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) multisensory approach, supported by the Math-U-See programme. The programme is sequential, cumulative and confidence-building.
